  • Back In Action

Ok so I sort of disappeared for about almost a month soon! Been really busy with trying to sort out my feelings and discontent in life. Anyway I occupied myself with a new found hobby! Night cycling! It is so fun to be cycling at night but then don't do it if it is not safe enough in your country. Thankfully Singapore is pretty safe most of the time but I don't take it for granted either, therefore I always make sure I have my friends along with me. Now that school has finally ended, it is also about the time i started looking for a full time job. Now I am going end this with a few p ictures from my night cycling adventure! till then!

  • *BIG SIGH*

It has been an exceptionally hard day for me. emotionally and physically. Why is it so hard to maintain a relationship? Already i am finding it hard to even fall in love, doubt i will ever find someone until i am 40. Well putting that aside...I squeeze all that bad emotions into andreline by cycling from yishun to sembawang (estate to estate). Took me about 2hours to and fro... well feels really good sweating it out but my thighs feel like as if its going to split! Sigh but i still can't help thinking about it.

  • The chocolate is calling me !!!

The chocolate is lying just next to my keyboard. I can sense it calling me: " eat me! eat me!"  Yes i have an EXTREMELY soft spot for chocolate (dark or brown)!!!  And here i am telling myself  i need to resist it  and i am trying to lose weight. My evil side is telling me "it is ok to have a little" yeah right i will end up finishing it all. I am sure you guys have your own "rules and regime" when you plan to lose weight. How many of us actually do keep up with these rules? (for example: No cheese tortillas, my fave too )

I went jogging again last night and added a new routine to it! Now i bring my skipping rope along and skip 100times when i reach the park! I think slowly increasing the intensity of your workout over time is extremely useful for changing your body, since our body cannot take too much strain out of a sudden, building up intensity allows your body to adapt to the change slowly. For example, you skip 100 times to begin with. After a period of time, you will realize your body can do it more easily. Therefore if you should increase the number over time, your body endurance increases too! With increased endurance, you will be achieving more out of your workout as well !

That is all for now...(chocolate still calling me, think i should put it somewhere i can't see).

    Alright, time for push ups!!!

  • Too much of anything good is bad. How true does it get?

I am finally sitting down infront of my computer after the whole day. Was in school from 11am till 12am. Tired! (I had my almost 3kg laptop in my backpack plus books and so on!) And i still got so much more work to do...i was dozing off while waiting for the bus earlier on.. I couldn't go jogging today cause i reached home simply too late (like 1am?)

Feeling abit sinful now that i didn't exercise today. Do you ever feel like sometimes you just can't pass a day without doing your routine workout? Do you think obssessions with sports or exercises is a bad thing? There is this saying that goes "Too much of anything good is bad." The saying is quite true to a certain extent...back in pre-u days i was jogging six days a week. i got so much andreline and kick from it. It was until one day i realise that my knee cap had this tingling sensation all the time, like something pulling the nerves inside. And next thing i know after a couple of months, while walking one of my knee would bend down out of the blue with no warning, almost causing me to lose my nose twice.

Do any of you have problems that arises from overworkout?

  • And the motivation continues!

And so my mission to boost my motivation continues! I must say i really do get my lazy days but seeing how my body has improve over the last 2 weeks by jogging 3-4times a week (altho i only made the committment yesterday)   I am really glad that i keep up. I admit that the internet and computer do get me stick my butt to the chair pretty often but i find my motivation to move by motivating my mom to exercise with me too!

Alot of times, i am sure you know that people use the excuse of "not having anyone to exercise" with to escape. No doubt, that people actually do affect your motivation level. So if you have problem doing it alone, find someone who exercise often and tag along or someone who faces the same problem like you, not having anyone to accompany them.

My mom is already 46years old and she is not exactly in perfect health, especially with high cholestrol level. So i needed to exercise and she need to try to be healthier, and ta-dah! perfect reason to go exercise!

Does not mean that you need to be overweight or so forth inorder to exercise, do remember that it is a fact that even skinny people can have high cholestrol, that is even worse than being able to see fats collecting on your body. Why?

People who "grow" fat can technically see that there is a need to stop and change and improve their weight and body, whereas skinny people (unless you are skinny because you are a sportsmen or women) with high cholestrol, they can't see themselves "growing fats" on their body and thus having less precaution. Fats "growing" onto your body is a sign your body uses to tell you that something needs to be done.

Have you found yourself a reason to start working that butt yet? if not, you really should.
